Major Win for Young India Skills University: 11 of 14 Data Centre Students Land Microsoft Jobs
Eleven students bag Rs 7 lakh annual packages from Data Centre Management course

Hyderabad: Young India Skills University has reported a major placement outcome, with 11 out of 14 students from its Data Centre Management course securing jobs at Microsoft with annual packages of Rs 7 lakh.
The placements came from a batch of 14 students who underwent training in the programme. University officials said the outcome demonstrates strong industry demand for skilled professionals in data centre operations and related fields. “A proud milestone in building industry-ready talent,” the university said.
Young India Skills University has positioned its courses around industry requirements and employability, with a focus on job-linked training. The Microsoft placements are among the early placement outcomes reported by the institution.
Officials said all 14 students completed the course, while 11 received offers from Microsoft. The university shared the placement figures as an example of the opportunities available to students enrolled in specialised skill-based programmes. The course was designed to prepare students for roles connected to data centre management and related technology operations.
Since commencing operations under the Young India Skills University Act, 2024, the university has introduced 17 courses, enrolled 418 students and partnered with more than 20 industry organisations. It is currently operating from the IIIT-Hyderabad campus area in Gachibowli while work on its permanent campus is underway.
