Hyderabad: Actor Navdeep has received significant relief in the drugs case. The Telangana High Court has quashed the drugs case registered against him. In this case, which was registered at Gudimalkapur, the court clearly noted that no narcotic substances were found in Navdeep’s possession.
Advocate Venkata Siddharth, who argued on behalf of Navdeep, told the court that Navdeep’s name appeared only in the FIR in this case and that no drugs were found with him at the place of the incident. He also explained that among the items seized at the spot, there was no evidence linking them to Navdeep.
Agreeing with these arguments, the High Court observed that it is not appropriate to continue a case without proper evidence. Since no drugs were found with Navdeep, the court made it clear that the case registered against him was being quashed. With this verdict, Navdeep has received major legal relief.
