Hyderabad: The sleuths of Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday arrested Bommireddy Venkateshwar Reddy, who is a Superintendent, Survey and Land Records, in connection with a bribe case.
The bribe was demanded and accepted Rs.15,000 from the complainant for showing official favour to put up the file to the Assistant Director (Survey and Land Records) for carrying out corrections in the village map pertaining to Karvena Village, Boothpur Mandal, Mahabubnagar District.
The tainted bribe amount of Rs.15,000 was recovered from the possession of Reddy. The details of complainant are withheld for security reasons.
