Mahabubnagar Irrigation AEE Held In Rs.3,000 Bribe Case

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested assistant executive engineer

(AEE), irrigation department, Circle-I of Mahabubnagar district, Mohammed

Fayaz, for demanding and accepting Rs 3,000 bribe from a complainant at a

bakery opposite Mahabubnagar One Town police station on Wednesday.

The bribe was accepted to upload the joint inspection report and NOC of plot

in the official site of Land Regulation Scheme (LRS). The bribe amount was

recovered from Fayaz.

In case of demand for bribe by any public servant, ACB has asked the public

to contact its toll-free number 1064 for taking action as per law. The ACB

details of the victim/complainant will be kept secret.
