Mahabubabad Police Rescue Youth From Railway Track
Mahabubabad police rescued a 26-year-old man from a railway track and reunited him with his family after counselling.

A 26-year-old man was rescued by Mahabubabad police after he was found lying on a railway track in the early hours of Wednesday.
According to police, the director general’s control room alerted Mahabubabad police at 2.44 am about a person on the railway track. Mahabubabad Rural circle inspector N. Anjali, who was on night patrol duty, immediately deployed police teams to the spot.
Sub-inspector S. Sudarshan, Blue Colts personnel and other police staff searched the track and found Shaik Vaseem, a resident of Illandu. Police rescued him from the track before an approaching Manuguru Express reached the spot, officials said.
The man was later taken to the Mahabubabad Town police station, where he was counselled. His parents were called to the station, following which he was handed over to them.
Appealing to the public, Anjali urged people facing personal or family problems to seek support from family members, friends or the police instead of taking extreme steps.
Mahabubabad superintendent of police Dr P. Shabarish commended CI Anjali, SI Sudarshan, the Blue Colts personnel and other police staff for their prompt response.
