Lt. Gen. Neeraj Varshney Urges Technology Embrace at MCEME Convocation

Hyderabad: Lieutenant General Neeraj Varshney Commandant of the MCEME, advised officers to embrace technology to enhance the Indian Army's capabilities and modernisation efforts. He was speaking at the 105th convocation at the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad. The ceremony, held on Saturday, saw 22 officers of the TES-41 Course, including three officers from Bhutan and two from Sri Lanka Army, being conferred BTech degrees from the JNU. Dr Ramesh Kancharla, CEO of Rainbow Children’s Hospitals, presided over the ceremony as the chief guest.
Traffic Awareness Program Held for Defence Personnel at Bison Division, Bolaram
Hyderabad: The Traffic Training Institute incharge and Begumpet ACP Shankar Raju organised a traffic awareness program at 554 ASC Unit, Bison Division, Bolaram with the support of Major Ankith Jain on Saturday. Over 305 defence personnel attended the session. The ACP briefed the Army officials about the consequences of drunken driving, minor driving, driving without helmet, in-proper number plate, cell phone driving and other violations on road. During the program the ACP educated all the staff on road safety precautions, traffic rules and also clarified their doubts during the session.
