L&T Clarifies Metro Services Are Unchanged
With regard to late night services, the authorities said they were extended till 11.45 pm in weekdays on an experimental basis for seven months.

Hyderabad: The L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Ltd on Monday clarified that there was no change in the frequency of services during peak and non-peak hours after the state government announced its decision to take over the metro rail.
In a rejoinder to the report, “TG govt takeover move worsens Metro services" published in these columns on December 21, the metro rail authorities said the services continued to be operated as per the operational schedules and protocols.
With regard to late night services, the authorities said they were extended till 11.45 pm in weekdays on an experimental basis for seven months. Due to consistent low patronage, the services were restored to the original 11 pm schedule from November 3. Further, the L&T Metro Rail said the operational control still remained with it.
