LPG Consumers Allege Diversion Of Cylinders, Stage Protest

They were informed by the agency in the morning that no cylinders were available: Protesters

NIZAMABAD: Consumers staged a protest on Wednesday in front of a gas agency at Tilak Garden Chowrasta in Nizamabad, alleging shortage of LPG cylinders. Protesters said they were informed by the agency in the morning that no cylinders were available. They alleged that domestic cylinders were being diverted to traders for profit.

The protest led to temporary traffic disruption on the main road near the CP Office. Consumers expressed concern over delays in supply. Similar protests were reported at other LPG distribution points in the city following the shortage. Police intervened and persuaded the protesters to disperse.
