Hyderabad: Three women died after a speeding lorry hit their van at Mandamarri in Mancherial district on Monday morning.
Around 23 labourers from Chandrapur in Maharashtra boarded a van to attend to agriculture works in Karimnagar district. When the van reached Indaram village crossroads at Jaipur mandal in Mancherial, the speeding lorry hit the van.
While a woman died on the spot, two other women died while undergoing treatment at the nearby hospital. Around 13 persons escaped with injuries in the incident. The injured were undergoing treatment in a government hospital in Mancherial.
