Adilabad: Panic gripped villagers of Chinthapalli in Tiryani mandal on Sunday morning after a leopard was spotted in the area. The big cat, reportedly chased by dogs, climbed a tree, prompting forest officials to alert locals about its movement.
Meanwhile, forest officials are also tracking the movement of a tiger that was recently spotted near Buggaram Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple in Bellampalli mandal. The tiger was found to have killed a wild boar, raising concerns among residents.
Authorities have warned people, farmers, and agricultural labourers to remain cautious. Forest staff reported that the tiger has been moving between Bellampalli and Kasipet mandals over the past two days.
