BRS MLAs Suspended For The Rest Of The Monsoon Session
Legislative Affairs Minister Sridhar Babu moved a motion calling for the BRS members to be removed from the House. Acting on the motion, the Speaker suspended 20 MLAs.

Hyderabad: Members of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) were suspended from the Telangana Legislative Assembly on Wednesday. Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar announced that the BRS MLAs would remain suspended for the rest of the ongoing session. The third day of the Monsoon Sessions of the Legislative Assembly got off to a noisy start again, with the opposition BRS leaders coming towards the Speaker’s well, leading to chaotic scenes and disrupting the session.

Acting on the motion, the Speaker suspended a total of 20 MLAs, including senior leaders K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), Harish Rao, Anil Yadav, Jagadish Reddy, Kaushik Reddy, Madhavaram Krishna Rao, Kova Lakshmi, Konikanti Manik Rao, Chinta Prabhakar, Prabhakar Reddy, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Marri Rajashekar Reddy, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Sabitha Indra Reddy, Sanjay, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Devireddy Sudheer Reddy, Vakiti Sunita Lakshmareddy, Kaleru Venkatesh, Vijayudu, and K.P. Vivekananda.
Following the suspensions, the Assembly was adjourned for a tea break.
