Kuchipudi Dancer Bhavana Reddy Performs In Iceland, Germany
Bhavana Reddy is the daughter of internationally renowned Kuchipudi dancers Raja and Radha Reddy of Nirmal. She said her tour received a warm response from the audiences in both the countries.

ADILABAD: Internationally acclaimed Kuchipudi dancer Bhavana Reddy has performed in five cities across Iceland and Germany in the third and final weeks of August as part of marking India’s 80th Year of Independence.
Bhavana’s tour has been supported by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and the Indian embassies in Iceland and Germany. Apart from performing, she also offered master classes for Kuchipudi learners.
Significantly, her Kuchipudi performances had been the first in Iceland, while they turned out to be an experience for new audiences in Germany.

The Kuchipudi dancer told Deccan Chronicle that the tour provided an opportunity for her to present Indian classical dance in Iceland and Germany and reconnect with her artistic and familial heritage.
Ambassador of India to Iceland R. Ravindra and his counterpart in Germany Ajit Gupte attended the performances as chief guests.
