KTR Steps in to Rescue Injured BRS Worker Stranded in Saudi Arabia

Karimnagar: BRS working president and Sircilla MLA K.T. Rama Rao said that he would support efforts to bring home Manda Mahesh, a party activist from Mandepalli of Thangallapally mandal in Rajanna Sircilla district, who was critically injured in a road accident in Saudi Arabia 15 days ago.

Mahesh had gone to Saudi Arabia last year. The accident occurred when the vehicle he was travelling in collided with another. The crash claimed eight lives, while Mahesh sustained serious injuries including fractures to his spine and legs. He is undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Saudi Arabia.

Mahesh sent a selfie video to his family members and BRS leaders on Saturday pleading for help. Local leaders forwarded the appeal to Rama Rao. On Sunday, Rama Rao visited the house of Mahesh and met his family members, and spoke to the injured man.

Rama Rao wrote to the Indian Embassy which assured him that steps were being taken to bring Mahesh back safely.
