KTR Slams Revanth for Mismanaging State Economy

Rama Rao demanded that the Congress government release a White paper on its 17-month tenure to account for its governance failures, and include information on his flight expenses to Delhi and that of his Cabinet colleagues who use helicopters.

Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of insulting government employees, mismanaging the state’s economy, and failing to deliver on election promises. “The Chief Minister’s derogatory remarks against state employees who have been vocal about pending salaries and dues, sought to portray the employees as ‘villains’ in the eyes of the public. This is a conspiracy to deflect accountability,” he alleged.

At a press conference, Rama Rao accused the Chief Minister of spreading falsehood about the state’s debt and economic condition to cover up administrative failures. His statement that Telangana is bankrupt is unprecedented. He turned a prosperous Telangana into chaos.” He added “when KCR took over as CM in 2014, Telangana was 12th in per capita income. Under BRS, we became the top-performing state. And now Congress says we are bankrupt.”
