KTR Demands Apology From Bandi Sanjay on Phone Tapping Remarks
BRS leader demands apology for ‘baseless’ remarks, calls BJP minister’s statements irresponsible

Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Friday strongly condemned Union minister of state Bandi Sanjay Kumar for levelling “baseless, irresponsible, and degrading allegations” in connection with the phone-tapping case, adding that by doing so, “Bandi Sanjay crossed all limits by resorting to senseless, unfounded, and third-rated remarks without verifying facts, purely to grab cheap publicity and media attention.”
Rama Rao demanded an immediate withdrawal of remarks by Sanjay and a public apology. If the BJP leader fails to do so, he will be served with a legal notice and be dragged to the court.
In a statement, Rama Rao said it has become Sanjay’s habit to “hurl unfounded accusations and sensational statements”. “He lacks even the basic understanding or knowledge of how surveillance and intelligence systems function. Holding a ministerial post is not as easy as carrying the shoes of your Delhi bosses,” Rama Rao said.
Rama Rao said the phone-tapping case was a sensitive matter with serious legal implications, but Sanjay was deliberately distorting facts and making baseless charges without any proof demonstrating absence of political maturity and responsibility.
