KTR Criticises Revanth’s ‘Sadistic Pleasure’ Comment
BRS says CM is insensitive as Telangana faces distress and governance failures

Hyderabad: The BRS working president, K.T. Rama Rao, severely criticised Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy over the remarks that he “enjoys public criticism” and that it is “shameful” that Chief Minister openly says he derives “sadistic pleasure” when people and opposition parties criticise him.
Rama Rao said the Chief Minister, with his comments, has proved that he is “insensitive to public suffering. While people across the state are distressed by the failures of the Congress government and are voicing their anger, the Chief Minister appears to be celebrating such criticism instead of addressing the issues.”
Addressing a gathering at Telangana Bhavan where several leaders from different political parties in Kalwakurthy constituency joined the BRS, Rama Rao wondered whether the Chief Minister feels no remorse over the reported deaths of 140 Gurukul students after he took charge. The government failed to ensure uninterrupted power supply and timely disbursal of Rythu Bandhu benefits. It has also failed to procure paddy which is lying exposed to rains on roads.
“People from all sections are suffering. When the opposition raises these concerns, the Chief Minister calls it a source of pleasure and this reflects a disturbing mindset,” Rama Rao said. People will ultimately judge such leadership, he added.
