KTR Asks BRS Leaders to Begin Constituency Meetings From This Week
In a statement, Rama Rao called on party leaders to also discuss the collapse of governance and sanitation in villages due to the “incompetence” of the Revanth Reddy government

HYDERABAD: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Monday called on party leaders to start holding constituency level meetings beginning this week ahead of the upcoming local bodies elections. Rama Rao said the focus of the BRS will be on “exposing Congress government’s failures, including betrayals against farmers and various sections of society.
In a statement, Rama Rao called on party leaders to also discuss the collapse of governance and sanitation in villages due to the “incompetence” of the Revanth Reddy government.
With the Telangana High Court recently saying that the elections must be held before the end of September, Rama Rao tasked district party presidents to coordinate the meetings, which are to be attended by BRS MLAs, MLCs, MPs, ZP chairpersons, former corporation chairpersons, and senior state committee members.
He said the party leaders should launch widespread public awareness campaigns to highlight the “Congress government’s failure to fulfill promises, its corrupt and undemocratic practices, and its governance lapses.” He also urged party workers to inform the public about the Congress government’s lack of sincerity in implementing the promised 42 per cent reservations for Backward Classes.
