Kondagattu Emerges Fourth Highest Revenue Generating Temple In Telangana

Officials attributed the increase in income to a surge in the number of devotees, hundi collections, special rituals and paid services. The temple witnesses heavy turnout on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with footfall rising further during Chinna Hanuman and Pedda Hanuman Jayanti celebrations and other festivals.

Revenue sources include vehicle pujas, hair tonsuring, prasadam sales and offerings made by devotees as part of vow fulfilment. Devotees from Telangana and neighbouring states such as Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka visit the temple regularly. Authorities said steps are being taken to improve infrastructure, queue management and accommodation facilities to manage the increasing number of pilgrims.
