Hyderabad: The driver of Endowments Minister Konda Surekha’s former OSD Sumanth was arrested on Sunday.
Police took the driver into custody near Sumanth’s residence in Tellapur.
Sumanth and five others were booked following a complaint filed by a real estate businessman, who alleged that he was assaulted with iron rods and that the accused demanded Rs.10 crores from him.
The case was registered against Sumanth, Prashanth, Ramu, Karthik Arun Kumar Reddy and Mahender Reddy under Section 109 of BNS.
