Khammam Congress Leader Dies in Road Accident Near Suryapet
He had attended the DCC executive committee oath-taking programme in Khammam on Tuesday.

Nalgonda: TPCC member and Khammam City Congress Committee president Mohammed Javed, 47, died in a road accident near Tekumatla in Suryapet district on Wednesday.
Police said the accident occurred at around 12.30 pm on the Khammam–Hyderabad National Highway when the car he was travelling in hit a road divider and overturned. The vehicle then went off the road, resulting in the fatal crash.
Police said Javed, who was driving the car, was thrown out after the impact as the doors opened and his body was found a few metres away from the vehicle. He was on his way to Hyderabad from Khammam.
He had attended the DCC executive committee oath-taking programme in Khammam on Tuesday.
Javed was reportedly planning to launch a news channel named “D-TV” and was travelling to Hyderabad in connection with the project.
Suryapet rural police said over-speeding led to the driver losing control of the vehicle. The body was shifted to the Government General Hospital mortuary in Suryapet for postmortem.
After the procedure, the body was handed over to his family in Khammam.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Tummala Nageswara Rao, and Khammam MP Raghuram Reddy expressed grief over his death.
