Karimnagar: District superintendent of police Akhil Mahajan inaugurated the ‘Khaki Kids’ initiative on Saturday in Rajanna Sircilla district, aiming to reduce cybercrimes and educate children about traffic safety. The event was attended by Government Chief Whip and Vemulawada MLA Aadi Srinivas.
MLA Aadi Srinivas highlighted the police department’s commitment to community safety through various programmes, including sports events, health camps, and the installation of CCTV cameras. He emphasised that ‘Khaki Kids’ will empower students to educate their families and communities about cyber safety and traffic regulations, fostering responsible behaviour from a young age.
Superintendent Mahajan said that the initiative is a crucial step towards creating informed and vigilant citizens. By teaching children to navigate the digital world safely and adhere to traffic laws, ‘Khaki Kids’ seeks to enhance overall community security and harmony.
