Khairatabad Bada Ganesh Darshan to End at Midnight Ahead of Friday Immersion

Hyderabad:With only hours remaining until the immersion of the Khairatabad Bada Ganesh on Friday, officials said darshan would continue only until midnight. On Thursday, darshan will be suspended to complete welding works and arrangements involving lorries and trolleys. The immersion procession is scheduled to begin on September 25.
Khairatabad DCP Shilpavalli directed police teams to maintain surveillance along the pandal and immersion routes. Senior police officials will monitor the 19‑km procession route from the Command Control Centre. Hyderabad police commissioner V.C. Sajjanar inspected arrangements at the site.

DGP C. V. Anand visited the pandal and prayed for peace, prosperity and well‑being for the people. He appealed to devotees and organisers to ensure immersion processions were conducted peacefully and safely. Anand reminded organisers of Supreme Court guidelines on DJs and crackers, noting excessive noise inconveniences the public, especially children and senior citizens. He welcomed committees’ decision to voluntarily refrain from DJs and crackers, urging responsible celebrations.
