KCR Keeping a Close Watch on What's Happening in State: KTR
KCR may not be seen much in three years, but songs about him are being heard in every street.
Hyderabad:BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Saturday said the primary reason that party president and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had mostly kept to himself and was not seen in public was because he believed that the verdict of the people in the last elections should be respected and that the Congress which won the polls should be given time.
“But he keeps a close watch on what is happening in the state. KCR may not be seen much in three years, but songs about him are being heard in every street. KCR who gave drinking water to homes, and Aasara pensions among many other benefits to the people, has made a home for himself in the hearts of the people,” Rama Rao said.
Addressing an event at Telangana Bhavan where several leaders and workers from Congress joined the BRS, Rama Rao said “various surveys are showing that the BRS will return to come to power in 2028 and that KCR will become Chief Minister again. Right now what needs to be done is that we ensure our party wins in any election in the state and send a strong message that BRS is strong, and will only become stronger,” Rama Rao said.
