KCR Consoles Peddi Family, Hands Over ₹2.25-Crore Aid

WARANGAL: BRS president and former chief minister K. Chandrasheker Rao on Sunday visited the family of former Narsampet MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy at Nallabelly, paid floral tributes to his portrait and consoled the bereaved family. He handed over cheques totalling ₹2.25 crore as financial assistance and assured them of the party’s continued support.
Recalling Peddi’s association with him since the Telangana statehood movement, Rao said his close associate had stood by him during difficult periods and made significant contributions to the movement and the building of the BRS. His services, he said, would always be remembered.
Rao said he considered it his personal responsibility to support Peddi’s family and assured them that the BRS would stand by them.
His visit drew large crowds of BRS workers and supporters in Nallabelly, with main roads packed with people seeking a glimpse of the former chief minister.
