Hyderabad: Legislative Council chairman G. Sukhender Reddy has accepted the resignation of K. Kavitha as MLC representing the Nizamabad Local Authorities' Constituency.
Kavitha was suspended from the BRS in September last year had her submitted her resignation from the seat, but her request was kept pending until Tuesday.
On Monday, Kavitha, after a farewell speech in the Council during which she tore into the BRS, had again requested Sukhender Reddy to accept her resignation.
