Kavitha's Letter Exposed BRS-BJP Nexus: Congress
Congress legislators pointed to Kavitha’s remarks in her letter as vindication of their long-held allegation that the BRS and BJP share covert ties despite their public confrontations

Hyderabad: The Congress claimed that BRS MLC K. Kavitha’s letter to her father and party chief K. Chandrashekar Rao had exposed both a deepening family feud within the BRS and a "secret understanding" between the BRS and BJP.
Congress legislators Adi Srinivas, Addanki Dayakar and Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy pointed to Kavitha’s remarks in her letter written on Thursday as vindication of their long-held allegation that the BRS and BJP share covert ties despite their public confrontations.
MLA and chief whip Adi Srinivas said Kavitha’s pointed criticism of her father’s silence on the BJP during the BRS’s silver jubilee celebrations in April was telling. “Her question to KCR confirms what we have always maintained — that BRS and BJP are two sides of the same coin,” he said, alleging that the letter revealed KCR’s readiness to align with the BJP in the future.
MLC Addanki Dayakar said the letter exposed widening rifts within the BRS, particularly among family members competing for control. “The feud has peaked. Kavitha’s letter shows each family member is trying to outmaneuver the other. To divert attention from this power struggle, BRS leaders are now blaming the Congress for misinformation,” Dayakar averred.
Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy went a step further, alleging that the BRS leadership had secretly backed the BJP candidate in the recent Graduate MLC polls. “Kavitha’s frustration stems from her party’s backdoor dealings with the BJP. Her letter is a direct indictment of the BRS leadership,” he said.
