Kavitha to Launch Janam Bata from October 25
Kavitha said she would spend two days in each district to interact with people and understand local issues.
Hyderabad: Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Wednesday announced a state-wide yatra titled Jagruthi Janam Bata, beginning October 25. The four-month campaign will cover 32 districts and conclude on February 13, 2026. In a notable departure, the yatra will not feature photographs of her father and BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao on posters or publicity material.
Kavitha said she would spend two days in each district to interact with people and understand local issues. “Even after 11 years of state formation, many problems remain unresolved. We want a Telangana where everyone has equal opportunities, respect and prosperity,” she averred.
She said that the initiative aims to engage directly with women, farmers, youth and intellectuals. “Real change cannot come from meetings in Hyderabad alone. We must reach out to villages, listen to people, and discuss solutions,” Kavitha added.
