Karimnagar Verdict Gives BJP a Big Mandate, Says Bandi Sanjay

Speaking to the media after the results were declared, Bandi Sanjay thanked party leaders and workers for their efforts in securing the BJP’s victory.

Karimnagar: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar said the people of Karimnagar have placed an onus on the BJP by giving it the highest number of seats in the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation elections.
Speaking to the media after the results were declared, Bandi Sanjay thanked party leaders and workers for their efforts in securing the BJP’s victory. He said he accepted the responsibility entrusted by the people and assured that Karimnagar would be developed by bringing funds from the Centre with the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Alleging a tacit understanding among the Congress, BRS and AlMIM, he claimed that money ranging from ₹7,000 to ₹10,000 was distributed per vote. He further alleged that Congress and AIMIM attempted to incite disturbances in the name of religion.
Bandi Sanjay also accused the Congress of trying to lure BJP candidates with offers ranging from ₹50 lakh to ₹1 crore. He alleged that the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation was being treated like the personal property of certain political families and asserted that the BJP would also capture the three corporations within the GHMC limits.
