Karimnagar: Robbers Loot Over 50 Tulas of Gold from House in Bhagat Nagar
The victims said the gang snatched gold chains from their necks, removed rings from their fingers and even cut off earrings to steal the jewellery.

Karimnagar: A gang of eight unidentified miscreants allegedly carried out a major robbery in Bhagat Nagar of Karimnagar on Tuesday night. The miscreants allegedly threatened the family members with fake revolvers and a knife.
According to the victims, the robbers entered the house, tied up the elderly family members and remained inside for nearly one-and-a-half hours. They allegedly looted around 66 tolas of gold ornaments, 10 tolas of silver and Rs.21 lakh in cash.
The victims said the robbers were wearing masks. They allegedly snatched gold chains from their necks, removed rings from their fingers and even cut off their earrings to steal the jewellery. Four members of the family were present in the house at the time of the incident.
Police rushed to the spot after receiving information about the robbery and launched an investigation. Officers are examining CCTV footage from the area to identify the accused and trace their movements.
