Karimnagar Police Crack PMJ Jewellers Robbery Case; 2 Detained

Hyderabad: The Karimnagar police achieved a major breakthrough in the sensational robbery that took place in PMJ Jewellers with the detention of two persons involved in the case.
The duo was caught while selling the stolen jewellery at a shop in West Bengal. The accused were brought to Karimagar on Sunday night. The police investigation identified the accused as members of an inter-state gang from West Bengal, Bihar and Rajasthan.
The group was formed during prison terms and has been involved in robberies across northern, northeastern and central regions to avoid local detection.
The police said that six members of the gang stayed in the region for nearly a month before the robbery. They allegedly posed as mechanics and lodged at a facility in Peddapalli on three occasions.
Police said they used public transport for reconnaissance and kept a white coloured motorcycle at a paid parking location for about 30 days while moving between Jagtial, Siddipet and Karimnagar.
