Kandukur: Rs 1.2 Crore Worth of Liquor Destroyed In Wine Shop Fire

Ranga Reddy Dt: A major fire broke out at a liquor shop in the mandal headquarters of Kandukur in Ranga Reddy district on Saturday. Liquor worth around Rs 1.2 crore and Rs 60,000 in cash are reported to have been destroyed in the fire.

As per reports, the blaze erupted suddenly at Jai Bhavani Wines. Because the shop held a large stock of liquor, the flames spread quickly and rose high, causing the whole shop to be gutted.

Fire personnel rushed to the scene soon after receiving the alert and brought the fire under control and prevented it from spreading further. Initial reports suggest that a short circuit could be the cause of the fire; however, the actual cause is yet to be determined.
