Kamareddy SP Inspects Ganesh Immersion Arrangements
Kamareddy SP M. Rajesh Chandra reviewed security, traffic and safety arrangements for Ganesh idol immersion at mandaps and Tekriyal tank.
Kamareddy SP M. Rajesh Chandra on Wednesday inspected arrangements for Ganesh immersion and visited several Ganesh mandaps in the town.
The SP visited the Kalki Ganesh, Ekadanta Ganesh, Shiv Sena Ganesh and Bala Ganesh mandaps at Pan Chowrasta. He offered prayers and interacted with organisers to review security and immersion arrangements.
Rajesh Chandra asked organisers and devotees to remain alert during the immersion procession and follow police instructions to ensure the celebrations passed off peacefully. He also interacted with children at the mandaps and advised them to observe safety precautions.
Later, the SP inspected immersion arrangements at Tekriyal tank under Devanpalli police station limits. He directed officials to take steps to prevent inconvenience to devotees and disruption to traffic and asked police personnel to remain vigilant throughout the immersion process.
The SP instructed Kamareddy DSP S. Madhusudan, Town SHO B. Narahari, Rural circle inspector Sridhar and Devanpalli sub-inspector Ranjith to focus on bandobust, traffic regulation, parking, public safety and the availability of trained swimmers at the immersion point.
He appealed to Ganesh festival committees and devotees to cooperate with police and ensure that the immersion programmes were conducted safely and peacefully.
