Kamareddy: Four Children From Same Family Drown in Manjeera Water
The children entered the water after having lunch and participating in the Yellamma Sambaram till afternoon

A pall of gloom descended on Budimi village, Banswada mandal, Kamareddy district as four children from the same family drowned in River Manjeera on Friday.
The children entered the water after having lunch and participating in the Yellamma Sambaram till afternoon. Within a few minutes, they were caught in the swirling waters and drowned. All the four children were aged below 10 years.
In another incident, four other people, Anita, Pavani, Srivani and Bhanu, belonging to Bollakpalli in Pitlam mandal also were drowned in River Manjeera.
Witnessing that the four women were getting drifted away in the swift currents, a woman tried to save them but was seriously injured. Immediately, locals saved the woman. The four bodies of the drowned were also recovered.
Police registered a case and began investigation.
