KAMAREDDY: The District Level Sand Committee (DLSC) meeting was held at the collectorate here on Tuesday, under the chairmanship of district collector Ashish Sangwan.
During the meeting, brief discussions were held on key issues, including the preparation of the District Survey Report (DSR) on sand and other minor minerals, the status of its approval measures to prevent illegal transportation of sand, and the installation of CCTV cameras at major junctions in the district to curb illegal activities.
The DLSC meeting also discussed the availability of sand in Magi and Achampet villages of Nizamsagar mandal. Additional collector Victor, sub-collector Kiranmayi, additional SP Narasimha Reddy, Nagesh, assistant directors from the mines & geology department and the groundwater department, and others were present.
