Kagaznagar SSB Officer Succumbs To Injuries

ADILABAD: Dinesh Kumar Mandal, 43, a sub-inspector with the Sashastra Seema Bal, died on Wednesday while undergoing treatment for head injuries sustained in an accident during duty in Assam. A native of Kagaznagar, he had joined service in 2004 and rose to the rank of sub-inspector.

Family members said he had been promoted as circle inspector on the day of the accident but died before assuming charge. His funeral will be held in Kagaznagar on Thursday.
