Kadiyam Srihari Furious Over Officials’ Laxity
Srihari said agriculture officials should have clear estimates of the daily vegetable requirement in the Hanamkonda, Warangal and Kazipet tri-city and the quantity supplied by local farmers.

HANUMAKONDA: Former deputy chief minister and Station Ghanpur MLA Kadiyam Srihari expressed anger over the absence of district-level officials from the Disha committee meeting and the lack of adequate information among those who attended. He questioned officials on the performance of various departments at the meeting held at the Hanamkonda collectorate on Thursday, chaired by Warangal MP and Disha committee chairperson Dr Kadiyam Kavya.
Srihari said agriculture officials should have clear estimates of the daily vegetable requirement in the Hanamkonda, Warangal and Kazipet tri-city and the quantity supplied by local farmers. He urged them to promote local vegetable cultivation and create awareness among farmers about alternative crops.
He called for immediate safety measures, including zebra crossings, speed breakers and other precautions at underpasses and U-turns at Dharmasagar and Unikicherla to prevent accidents on national highways.
Srihari directed officials to improve the functioning of the Dharmasagar PHC within a month and asked the collector and DMHO to inspect the hospital. He also suggested additional Maths and English classes for classes 8 to 10 in government schools.
Srihari said Disha committee issues could be brought to the notice of the Lok Sabha Speaker and warned that negligence by officials would not be tolerated.
