Kadapa Man Dies of Heart Attack in USA a Day After His Graduation
Mohammed Kumel Shaik suffered cardiac arrest after graduating in California
Hyderabad: A Kadapa-based man died in the United States due to a heart attack just a day after celebrating his graduation. Mohammed Kumel Shaik, 26, passed away in his sleep from a cardiac arrest after taking part in his graduation walk at Golden Gate University in California.
According to a fundraiser started by his friends, Kumel graduated from the university and participated in celebrations that night, but did not wake up the next day. His sudden death shocked friends and loved ones, who described him as kind, humble and caring. “Mohammad came to the US with big dreams and worked incredibly hard for his future and for his family back in India.”, the fundraiser read.
The fundraiser was launched to help send his body back to India, and to support his family in Kadapa who are struggling with educational loans and other unexpected expenses following the tragedy.
