No Sexual Assault, Boyfriend's Role in Kadapa Girl Murder

Kadapa: In a significant development in the murder case of an intermediate student from Erraguntla mandal, police on Wednesday ruled out both sexual assault and the involvement of the victim's boyfriend, identified as Lokesh.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Koya Praveen stated that there was no evidence of sexual assault on the girl and confirmed that Lokesh played no role in the incident. "We have found some concrete evidence on Wednesday morning related to the murder. However, we cannot disclose the details at this point. The district Superintendent of Police is expected to crack the case by tonight," DIG Praveen told reporters.
The victim, who was studying intermediate in Proddatur, went missing on Monday after leaving for college. Her parents lodged a missing complaint with the police when she failed to return home. Her body was later discovered in the Gandikota area, prompting police to register a case and launch a thorough investigation.
