Jupalli Blames Centre for Urea Shortage in Telangana
Responding to Bodh MLA Anil Jadhav, Krishna Rao said that the state government had taken the problems of soybean farmers to the attention of the Centre, and requested that purchases be made through Nafed.

Hyderabad: While minister Jupally Krishna Rao explained that the urea scarcity was created by the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre, minister D. Sridhar Babu said that the previous BRS government in Telangana had neglected government employees’ welfare and police facilities.
During Zero Hour, BRS Dubbak MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy raised questions about the urea shortage. Krishna Rao said the shortage was due to insufficient production and imports, and that the matter fell under the purview of the Centre.
The minister said that an app had been created for farmers to book and receive urea transparently.
Responding to Bodh MLA Anil Jadhav, Krishna Rao said that the state government had taken the problems of soybean farmers to the attention of the Centre, and requested that purchases be made through Nafed.
On the issues raised by BRS MLA T. Harish Rao on government employees, minister D. Sridhar Babu said it was strange for Harish Rao to speak about employees and said that his comments were like “demons reciting the Vedas.” He said the requests made by members during the Zero Hour would be taken into consideration.
Harish Rao had alleged that nowhere else in the country were six dearness allowance (DA) increments pending for government employees except in Telangana. He said that even after two years of the government coming to power, the Pay Revision Commission (PRC) has not been implemented.
