Judge: Clients Coming Fully Prepared
Lawyers formed the first and most crucial step in delivering justice to the people, Justice Narasimha said, addressing a discussion with lawyers at the Telangana High Court premises: Reports

HYDERABAD: Supreme Court Judge Justice Pamidighantham Sri Narasimha on Monday observed that clients these days often consult multiple lawyers and coming prepared with detailed knowledge of their cases. This, he said, had increased the pressure on advocates and made the legal profession more challenging in the present times.
Lawyers formed the first and most crucial step in delivering justice to the people, Justice Narasimha said, addressing a discussion with lawyers at the Telangana High Court premises.
Justice Narasimha later spoke at a programme organised by the Telangana High Court Advocates Association (THCAA), where he stressed the need to equip lawyers with modern technology, including artificial intelligence, to ensure speedy disposal of cases. He noted that reducing pendency was possible only through effective mediation and called for mediation to be encouraged parallel to court proceedings. He said that advocates must be trained as experts in mediation, with Bar Councils and Bar Associations taking responsibility for such capacity-building.
Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh of the Telangana High Court, HCAA office-bearers, and a large number of advocates were present at the programme.
