Jubilee Hills residents oppose installation of cell tower in colony

ADILABAD: Residents in Jubilee Hills colony (ward number 12) on Friday staged a protest at the municipal office opposing installation of a cell phone tower in the middle of the colony in Adilabad town. They carried placards and raised slogans against the move.

Women and children, urged the authorities to deny permission for the installation of a cell phone tower in their locality.

The colony members expressed fear that signals from the cell phone tower would release radiation and cause health issues to the people.
