The six were apprehended at Jallapur RTA check post while en route to Hyderabad.

Jogulamba Gadwal police swiftly solved a murder case within 48 hours, arresting six individuals. The victim, Sandhya Pogu Ramesh, was killed on February 12, 2025, near Maddur stage. Initially reported as a hit-and-run, the investigation revealed a premeditated murder orchestrated by Ramesh's own brothers.

Ramesh had ongoing property disputes with his brothers, Sandyapogu Gopi and Sandyapogu Mahesh. Tensions escalated after Ramesh and another brother allegedly attempted to murder Mahesh. Seeking revenge, Mahesh plotted Ramesh's murder with his family's knowledge.

Mahesh enlisted Boya Narasimhulu, promising him an auto worth ₹150,000. Narasimhulu, in turn, recruited Bandamidhi Thimmappa and Boya Nagendra. The group procured specialized hunting knives and planned the attack. They initially attempted to run Ramesh over a week prior. On the day of the murder, they followed Ramesh and his uncle after a court visit. Near Maddur stage, they rammed Ramesh's motorcycle with a Bolero, then Mahesh and Narasimhulu fatally attacked him with knives, also injuring his uncle.

Police, under the supervision of the District SP and DSP, formed a special team. Utilizing CCTV footage and technical expertise, they identified and tracked the accused. The six were apprehended at Jallapur RTA check post while en route to Hyderabad. Police recovered a car, three knives, and four mobile phones. The SP commended the police team with a cash reward for their efficient investigation.
