Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday announced that the state government would release a job recruitment calendar for the power sector by looking at the power demand.
He assured members of Telangana Electricity Assistant Engineers Association, who met him, that the government would periodically release the job calendar as per staff requirement. The engineers thanked Bhatti for deciding on a new 800 MW thermal power centre at Ramagundam under the control of Genco.
He responded positively when told about the pending promotion posting orders of October 2024 from assistant engineer to assistant divisional engineers in Transco and two power utilities in the state.
Association’s state president Ramakrishna Reddy, general secretary Bhattu Harish and others took part in the meeting.
