JNTU Hyd, German University for Advanced Studies (GV), Aachen, collaborate to explore joint research
The two institutions have agreed to launch dual degree options, enable faculty and student exchanges
Hyderabad: Faced with the need to internationalise curriculum and research, JNTU Hyderabad is working with the German University for Advanced Studies (GV), Aachen, to develop joint academic programmes and innovation initiatives.
The two institutions have agreed to launch dual degree options, enable faculty and student exchanges, and explore joint research in emerging fields. A Centre of Excellence is also being considered to support collaborative innovation.
The formal agreement was signed by UoH registrar Prof. Dr K. Venkateswara Rao and GV managing director Raj Vangapandu, in the presence of JNTU-H Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. T. Kishen Kumar Reddy.
Officials say the collaboration will be reviewed periodically and is aimed at aligning university outputs with international standards in science, engineering, and technology.
