JLL Opens 1.2 Lakh Sq Ft GCC in Hyderabad; Telangana Logs 150 GCCs, 1.5 Lakh Jobs in 20 Months

Hyderabad:Global commercial real estate firm JLL on Wednesday inaugurated its 1.2 lakh square feet global capability centre (GCC) in Financial District here. The facility, set up for JLL Business Services (JBS), will scale to about 1,600 employees over the next two years.
It is intended to deliver mission-critical services in finance, HR, project management, lease administration, analytics and technology-enabled solutions for JLL’s global operations.
Inaugurating the centre, IT minister D. Sridhar Babu said the state’s sustained push on GCCs has made Hyderabad the preferred destination for global firms even as AI, automation and restructuring reshape the sector. “In the last 20 months, Telangana has welcomed nearly 150 GCCs, creating nearly 1.5 lakh high-value technology jobs. Our GCC strategy is designed to future-proof employment by creating the jobs of tomorrow,” he said, adding that innovation-led GCCs are a powerful engine for investment and resilience.
Sridhar Babu said Telangana’s GCC growth rested on three pillars — world-class infrastructure, future-ready talent and a government industry can trust.
Matthew Rees, chief shared service centre officer and global head of operations, JLL Business Services, said Hyderabad was a “strategic and deliberate” choice to integrate exceptional talent with standardized processes and AI-enabled workflows under JLL’s Accelerate 2030 strategy.
