Hyderabad: Passport Office Holds Art, Calligraphy Expo on Constitution

Hyderabad: Marking the 75th year of India adopting its Constitution, the Regional Passport Office (RPO) in Hyderabad is organising a year-long art and calligraphy exhibition dedicated to the original handwritten manuscript. Governor Jishnu Dev Varma inaugurated the event on Friday.
J. Snehaja, Regional Passport Officer, Hyderabad, guided the Governor through the display. The event was attended by retired Indian ambassador Shruti Patil (additional director general, PIB & CBC), staff of the MEA regional offices, and passport applicants.
The RPO Hyderabad had earlier introduced a special edition envelope inspired by the Constitution’s design for passport dispatches.
“The Constitution involved several artists and calligraphers, showcasing intricate artwork,” said Snehaja. “Visitors to the RPO throughout the year can view this exhibition and gain insights into the historical and artistic significance of our Constitution.”
