Hyderabad: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH), Greater Hyderabad, is organising a three-day public exhibition and seminar titled “Beyond the divide — countering hate, building harmony,” with the aim of combating rising misinformation, while wishing to foster social harmony and mutual understanding among diverse communities.

Addressing media persons at Somajiguda Press Club, organisation’s Hyderabad city president Mubashir Ahmed, city secretary Azam Ali Baig, and other representatives stated that the mega event will be held from October 30 to November 1 at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally.

He noted that the core objective of the initiative is to steer public discourse away from fear and toward understanding, from assumptions to facts, and from division to harmony.

Organisers explained that the exhibition will feature thought-provoking galleries, visual displays, and interactive setups.

Additionally, panel discussions and seminars involving educationists, journalists, historians, religious scholars, and intellectuals will be held to deliberate on sensitive subjects, shared values, and peaceful coexistence in a pluralistic society.

The JIH leaders extended an open invitation to citizens from all walks of life, including students, youth, academics, community leaders, and families to visit the exhibition and contribute to building a stronger, harmonious society.
