JCP Traffic Appeals City Residents To Remain Alert During Rain; Inspects Waterlogging Points
Hyderabad Traffic Joint Commissioner D. Joel Davis inspected major waterlogging locations and urged citizens to stay alert, avoid unnecessary travel, and follow traffic advisories during heavy rainfall.

In view of the heavy rainfall across Hyderabad Tuesday evening joint commissioner of police (traffic), Hyderabad City, D. Joel Davis, appealed to all city residents to remain alert and cautious.
To ensure smooth traffic flow and safety, the joint CP personally conducted field inspections at major water logging points, including Lakdikapul, Ayodhya Junction, and PTI Masab Tank.
During the inspection, Davis reviewed the water drainage arrangements and traffic regulation measures on the ground. As rainwater accumulation has slowed down vehicle movement in several parts of the city, traffic personnel are actively deployed on the roads to manage traffic flow.
The police have issued special advisory for citizens and commuters on the occasion. Citizens were strongly advised to stay indoors and refrain from stepping out unless it is absolutely necessary. Commuters on the road must drive cautiously at very low speeds and strictly follow the directions of traffic police personnel on duty. Those who need to travel urgently are advised to plan their journeys with sufficient extra time due to slow-moving traffic. Citizens were also urged to stay updated by checking the official social media handles of the Hyderabad traffic police for real-time traffic updates and advisories, a press release issued by the joint commissioner, city traffic police stated.
