Jawahar Navodaya’s New Academic Year To Start In Nizamabad From DIET College
To establish a new Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) in Nizamabad district, 30 acres of land have been allotted in Kaligot village, Jakranpally mandal.

Nizamabad:New Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in Nizamabad district are set to begin classes for the 2025–26 academic year. Initially, classes will be conducted in temporary facilities, with all essential amenities in place. Union minister of education and chairperson of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Dharmendra Pradhan, has directed officials to take the necessary steps to ensure smooth commencement of the academic session.
To establish a new Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) in Nizamabad district, 30 acres of land have been allotted in Kaligot village, Jakranpally mandal. While the construction of a permanent campus is underway, temporary accommodation has been arranged at the DIET College building in Nagaram. MP Arvind Dharmapuri has sanctioned ₹20 lakh for minor repair works at the DIET facility to facilitate the smooth commencement of the new JNV.
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti deputy commissioner Gopalakrishna has written to the principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Nizamsagar, Kamareddy district, directing them to make necessary preparations for the new JNV in Nizamabad. He instructed that essential infrastructure — including roads, water supply, electricity, and telecommunication facilities — be ensured at the temporary accommodation. The deputy commissioner also requested a detailed report on the temporary arrangements being made.
JNV officials are set to meet Nizamabad district collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu to coordinate the necessary steps for the establishment of the new Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas. MP Arvind Dharmapuri played a crucial role in securing the sanction for the new JNVs in the district and actively lobbied the central government to ensure that classes for the 2025–26 academic year begin without delay. The establishment of the new JNV will provide students in Nizamabad district with the opportunity to pursue quality education under the CBSE curriculum in a Navodaya Vidyalaya setting.
