Jangaon Revenue Inspector, Panchayat Raj Employee In ACB Net
The ACB recovered the tainted bribe amount from the two government officials

Hyderabad: Vineet Kumar, a Revenue Inspector at Tahsildar office in Chilpur mandal in Jangaon district, was caught red-handed by Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs.26,000 from a complainant.
Kumar demanded bribe for doing an official favour for submitting the field verification report related to the mutation file of the complainant and his elder brother, and to be processed by the Tahsildar. As per the instructions of Kumar, the complainant placed the bribe amount on the rear seat of the former’s car.
A chemical test conducted on the rear seat of Kumar’s car yielded a positive result. The identity of the complainant is being withheld for security reasons.
In a separate case, N. Srinivasa Sharma, a senior assistant in Panchayat Raj (PR) division in Armoor was caught by the ACB when he accepted an amount of Rs.7,000. He had initially demanded Rs.7,500 as bribe and reduced it to Rs.7,000 on the request of the complainant. Following instructions, the complainant kept the demanded bribe of Rs.7,000 on his table to obtain the signature of previous executive engineer in the department on fund transfer order documents pertaining to the works of the complainant.
The tainted bribe amount of Rs.7,000 was seized from the table of Sharma.
